Emmanuel Mission School

Emmanuel Mission School was established on June 3rd, 2002 at Azhakam. We started this institution to provide quality education to the poor children. With around 150 students in this school most of them are from Emmanuel Children’s Home and rest from nearby areas.  We are providing them with quality education with English medium as our primary standard. We hope that education will inculcate self-confidence and self-esteem in them and they will become successful person with good character and self-dependency, which can lead a fruitful life in the society.

On November 7th, 2006, The Health and Social Welfare Minister Mrs. P.K. Sreemathy inaugurated the new school building in which several political leaders and well-wishers also attended. Currently our institution provides education from nursery to 7th grade. All our students attend competitive examination every year conducted by NewJyothi International and more than 80% of students get high grades and prizes.   Also, annual arts and sports competitions in relation to the Schools Anniversary are conducted every year to encourage students and prizes are distributed among the winners. We also conduct yearly excursion for educational and relaxation for the student. Twelve trained and certified teachers and 5 staffs are working here. We started this school with a vision that poor children should get quality education at a very low expense. We are praying and planning to increase the grades to higher secondary level (12th grade) but, for this we need more land and buildings. We are praying and hoping that God will make a way through.
