The School of Humanities & Social Sciences at Emmanuel College offers undergraduate majors in areas including political science and international studies, English, writing and communications, criminology and criminal justice, studio art and graphic design, history, sociology, philosophy, theater arts, modern languages, and theology—with interdisciplinary options that span culture, identity, ethics, and social systems.

These programs emphasize real-world application, critical thinking, and inclusive inquiry. Students learn to communicate effectively, engage diverse perspectives, and address complex issues through research, writing, and collaboration.
