Did you previously apply to Emmanuel College as either a first-year or transfer student and are looking to reactivate your previous application to be reconsidered for a new start term?
Students who applied as either a first-year or transfer applicant for an application start term up to 1 year prior to their intended start term.
For example, students applying toward Fall 2026 could reactive an application that was submitted toward a Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 start term. Essentially, if you applied for a start term prior to 2025, you must submit a new Common Application for your current student type – first year or transfer
Submit a new Common Application for your student type (first-year or transfer) and you can still request that we move over any previous application pieces (ex. recommendations, essay) to support your new application. Please contact admissions [at] emmanuel.edu (admissions[at]emmanuel[dot]edu) to request those items be moved over once you have submitted your Common Application.
Please note, you likely will have additional requirements to complete your application.
Complete this application reactivation survey.
Make note of any new information such as college courses that you have taken since you previously applied. There is a comment box if you wish to add any additional comments about your intentions for reapplying or need additional information.
A member of the admissions team will be in contact to share details about any additional information we will need to complete your application before review. Reactivating your application does not mean we have everything we need to reconsider you for admissions. Please contact admissions [at] emmanuel.edu (admissions[at]emmanuel[dot]edu) if you have further questions about requirements.
Completing the reactivation survey does not reflect that your application is complete for review. An admissions counselor will be in touch about any missing items.
Reactivating your application does not guarantee admission into Emmanuel College even if you were previously admitted.
If you were previously admitted, your merit scholarship will be re-evaluated based on this year’s cohort of applicants. However, we encourage all students to consider submitting the FAFSA as part of their process as need-based aid is subject to change year to year through the annual FAFSA form.
Transfer students are ineligible to apply for certain major programs including Nursing at Emmanuel. If you were previously admitted as a first-year student into Emmanuel’s Nursing program and then took classes at a college level after receiving your high school diploma, you would be considered a transfer student and have become ineligible to join the Nursing cohort at Emmanuel.
If you were previously enrolled at Emmanuel College as a full-time student and withdrew for any reason, and now wish to return, there is a separate process that lives outside of the Admissions office. Any student who voluntarily withdrew from the College and who wishes to be reinstated should email academicadvising [at] emmanuel.edu (Academic Advising) to start the next steps for reinstatement. You should not fill out another admissions application.
