The College awards a variety of scholarships and grants to help bridge the gap between your and your family’s resources and the cost of attending. Please see below for a list of Emmanuel funded scholarships and grants.

Emmanuel College offers a variety of scholarships to recognize academic achievement and contributions to the community. These include the Presidential Scholarship, Dean’s Scholarship, Academic Achievement Scholarship, City of Boston Scholarship, and the Saints Community Award, which honors students we believe will make a valuable addition to the Emmanuel community.

All students who submit their admission application by the published deadline are automatically considered for both merit-based and community-based scholarships. No separate application is needed for most awards. Details about scholarship amounts and renewal requirements are included in the scholarship letter sent with the acceptance packet.

The Emmanuel Grant is offered to students on the basis of demonstrated financial need. The Emmanuel Grant may be awarded in conjunction with Emmanuel College Merit Scholarships and/or federal and state sources of need-based financial aid. The amount of the grant will depend on the student's financial need and his or her eligibility for other sources of funding. Changes in enrollment and housing, including moving off campus, may affect the amount of your Emmanuel grant(s).

A 5% tuition discount is offered to siblings enrolled concurrently in the traditional undergraduate program at Emmanuel College. To qualify, all siblings must be matriculated and enrolled full-time for each period of eligibility. If you believe you qualify for this opportunity, please contact our office.

Emmanuel College Endowed and Restricted scholarships are funded by alumni and friends of the College based on criteria established by the donor. Most endowed scholarships are reserved for continuing students; however, all incoming students are reviewed for endowed scholarship eligibility upon receipt of their financial aid application (FAFSA) and do not need to submit an Endowed Scholarship application.

Students selected as Resident Assistants receive a 75% reduction in room and board charges in their first year as an RA and 100% waiver of room and board charges for subsequent years of service as an RA. Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors may apply for RA positions through Residence Life.
